Weekly Review

Paul Gregory has been looking at a recently submitted bug relating to Piqsl dropping tailing buckets. A fix has been submitted. Chris Foster has been fixing bugs, including proper calculation of du/dv values, some small bugs in Piqsl, and a bug in the handling of environment variables in options.

  1. Implement separation of sample data from pixels in the B:BOC proposal - Paul Gregory ON HOLD
  2. Automate RPM generation - renderguy

Status of Release 1.4 Phase2 (pgregory)

Overview

General update of the work underway on Phase2 and feedback about the feeling of the status and how it's progressing.

Summary

Generally, the feeling is good, bugs are being fixed and reported which is positive. It was suggested that the issues with Linux packaging should be resolved before Phase2 ends.

PDF Generation (pgregory)

Overview

Some recent issues with the PDF generation of the documentation part of the Wiki were raised last week, we will discuss these issues and potential fixes.

Summary

No progress on this front, carried over to next week.

AOB

Chris Foster raised an impromptu discussion point, the refactoring of the SO_DuType and SO_DvType functions. Some major issues with du and dv were raised, but the issue is bigger than could be discussed in the time, so will be scheduled as a discussion topic for next week.
